GENERAL INFORMATION

The push-button panel module does not require a power supply (either from the mains or from a battery), as it uses a technology that exploits the pressing of the push-buttons by the user to obtain the energy needed for transmitting ZigBee commands.

The connected push-button panel module allows four independent ZigBee commands to be sent by pressing four local push-buttons. The device can be flush-mounted (on ChoruSmart supports) or surface-mounted (using the back-mounting box supplied in the pack). In the case of surface mounting, it can then be completed with ONE, GEO, LUX, ICE or EGO plates in either the rectangular 2-gang version or the international 2-gang version.

The push-button panel must be completed with front button keys: two GW1x819 1-module or one GW1x820 2-module.

FUNCTIONS

The push-button panel can fulfill the following functions:

  • ON/OFF COMMAND
  • LAMP DIMMING
  • ROLLER SHUTTER COMMAND
  • GENERAL LOAD COMMAND
  • SCENE ACTIVATION

The push-button panel cannot be used to command: GWA1521, GWA1522, GWA1523, GWA1526, GWA1531 actuators or the GWA1916 local relay

RADIO CHANNEL CHANGE AND FACTORY RESET

ATTENTION: the following operations must be carried out by removing the front button keys! Use the push-buttons on the button panel underneath (see Fig. B).
RADIO CHANNEL CHANGE AND FACTORY RESET

During the direct initial start-up procedure, you can define which ZigBee radio channel the device should use for communicating. Choose from four different ZigBee channels: 11, 15, 20 or 25.

The device has four push-buttons and two activation bars, as shown in Fig. B (see push-buttons BO, BI, A0, AI and the activation bars ).

Refer to this figure for the following instructions.

Direct initial start-up

The Home Gateway app guides you through the steps in detail, so the following is merely a brief summary. The direct initial start-up procedure involves two different stages: the sending of an initial start-up request, and the confirmation of the channel that will be used by the device for subsequent communications.

  • Initial start-up request: press and hold one of the four buttons, at the same time pressing one of the two device activation bars (≥ 7 sec). The radio channel will change according to the push-button pressed, as shown in the table:
    PUSH-BUTTON\ RADIO CHANNEL
    A0 CH15
    B0 CH11
    AI CH20
    BI CH25
    Activation bar CH11
  • Radio channel confirmation: simultaneously press push-buttons AI and B0, along with one of the two activation bars, to confirm the radio channel selected.

Factory reset

The device can be reset at the factory conditions by pressing and holding the push-buttons A0, AI, B0 and BI, along with one of the two activation bars, for more than 7 seconds.

ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION

warning ATTENTION: the following operations must be carried out when the system is not powered if there are other powered devices nearby.

The push-button panel can be surface-mounted using the fixing kit supplied (see Fig. C).
ASSEMBLY

The back-mounting box can be used in the form in which it is supplied for surface-mounting, subsequently completing the installation with a rectangular 2-gang plate (ONE, GEO, EGO, LUX or ICE).

By breaking the side edges of the box (along the perforated lines), the surface-mounting installation can be completed with an international 2-gang plate (ONE, GEO, EGO or LUX).

ATTENTION: if the side edges are broken off, make sure no sharp edges are created!

The push-button panel can also be installed in a ChoruSmart support, using the adapter supplied in the pack (see Fig. D).
CONNECTION

It can also be mounted on a surface where the fixing screws cannot be used; in this case, use the double-sided tape strips supplied.

PROGRAMMING

To program the connected push-button panel and the smart home system, download the Home Gateway app from Play Store or App Store.

To define the correct operation of the device, follow the steps explained in the Home Gateway app during configuration.

MAINTENANCE

This device is designed in such a way that it requires no particular maintenance. Use a dry cloth if cleaning is required.
