2. How do I know which firmware version I have in my SLA5500?

Switch on the SLA5500.

Press the 'SYSTEM' button on the remote control.

Select 'Device Status' and press the 'OK' button on the remote control.

Press the down button on the remote until you reach menu item 'Firmware Version' (2/19).

Here you can see your firmware version.

3. How do I know what the latest firmware is?

Check the Philips support site for the SLA5500 regularly.

There are different versions of firmware depending where you bought the SLA5500.

Make sure you have the right firmware for your SLA5500 before you start the upgrade.
