3-Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. or if in Canada, Newell Brands Canada ULC (collectively, "Sunbeam")
warrants that for a period of three years from the date of purchase, this product will be free
from defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam Products, Inc., at its option, will repair
or replace, free of charge, this product or any component of the product found to be defective
during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product
or component at no cost to the consumer. If the product is no longer available, replacement
may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.
Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product.
Sunbeam Products, Inc. reserves all rights to decline coverage if the defect or damage was
caused by unauthorized components or service. This warranty is valid for the original retail
purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original
sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Dealers, service
centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam Products, Inc. products do not have the right to alter,
modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty. This warranty does
not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use
or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating
instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam Products, Inc. or
an authorized Sunbeam Products, Inc. service center. Sunbeam Products, Inc. expressly excludes
from this warranty and denies liability for defects or damage caused by repair or alteration by
anyone other than Sunbeam Products, Inc. or an authorized Sunbeam Products, Inc. service
center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and
tornadoes.
No terms of this warranty may be construed to apply to non-warranty service and maintenance.
Accordingly, Sunbeam Products, Inc. also denies liability for defects and damage caused by
repair or alteration outside the terms of this warranty.
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or
misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar
damages or loss of profits, or for damages arising from any tort, including negligence or gross
negligence, or fault committed by Sunbeam, its agents or employees or for any breach of
contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other
party.
Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES

L'emploi d'un appareil électrique exige l'observation de précautions de sécurité
fondamentales pour réduire le risque d'incendie, de chocs électriques et/ou de

1. Lisez toutes les instructions avant d'utiliser ce produit.
2. Pour vous protéger des chocs électriques, ne placez ou ne plongez ni le
cordon, ni les fiches, ni l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans un autre liquide.
3. Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour être employé par des enfants ou par
des personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont
réduites, ou qui sont dénuées d'expérience ou de connaissance. Redoublez
de vigilance si l'appareil fonctionne près d'enfants. Surveillez assidûment
les enfants afin qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil. Gardez également
l'appareil et le cordon hors de leur portée.
4. Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il fonctionne.
5. Débranchez l'appareil entre utilisations, avant de monter ou de démonter
toute pièce et avant de le laver. Attendez qu'il soit froid pour le nettoyer,
monter ou démonter toute pièce. Pour le déconnecter, ÉTEIGNEZ-le puis
tirez délicatement la fiche hors de la prise en la tenant entre le pouce et
l'index – ne donnez jamais un coup sec sur le cordon.
6. Évitez tout contact avec les pièces mobiles.
7. N'employez pas un appareil dont le cordon ou la fiche est abîmé, qui a
mal fonctionné ou a été endommagé de quelque façon. Ne tentez pas de
changer ou d'épisser un cordon abîmé. Retournez l'appareil au fabricant
(voyez la garantie) pour vérification, réparation ou mise au point.
8. Appareils avec fiche à marquages : une branche de la fiche de ces appareils
porte des marquages importants. La fiche de connexion ou l'assemblage
cordon (si la fiche est moulée avec le cordon) n'est pas remplaçable. En cas
d'endommagement, l'appareil sera remplacé.
9. L'emploi d'accessoires – y compris de bocaux – non conseillés ou vendus
par le fabricant peut causer incendie, chocs électriques ou blessures.
10. Ne vous servez de l'appareil ni à l'air libre ni à des fins commerciales.
11. Veillez à ce que le cordon ne pende pas du comptoir ou du plateau de table
et ne touche pas de surfaces chaudes, y compris la cuisinière.
12. Pour réduire le risque de blessures corporelles graves et ne pas abîmer
l'appareil, gardez mains et ustensiles hors du récipient durant le mélange.
N'utilisez une spatule que lorsque le moteur est au repos.
13. Le couteau étant très acéré, manipulez-le prudemment – surtout quand
vous le sortez du récipient et videz ou lavez le récipient.
14. Pour réduire le risque de blessures, ne placez jamais le couteau sur le socle-
moteur sans qu'il ne soit convenablement fixé au récipient.
15. Posez toujours une main sur le récipient durant le fonctionnement. Si le
récipient tourne lorsque le moteur DÉMARRE, ÉTEIGNEZ l'appareil
sans délai et serrez le récipient dans la base filetée.
