282 Driving and parking
If the vehicle does not start: switch off non-

If the vehicle still does not start and the

er's display: start the vehicle with the key in
the marked space (emergency operation
mode) (

You can switch off the vehicle while driving. To
do this, press and hold button
three seconds or press button
within three seconds. The transmission will
shift to neutral i automatically. When you
press button

again, the vehicle will start
again and you can engage drive position h
again. Be sure to observe the safety notes
concerning this under "Driving tips"
(
page 284).
