6 Getting Started Connection and Preparation Connect the power adaptor to the back of device and plug it into power socket. Switch on the device, it starts up. Pull out the rod DAB/FM antenna for DAB and FM reception. General Device Functions On the playing screen, rotate the volume knob or press on the remote control to adjust the volume. - Page 12 one of the 40 presets to save the currently playing station. 7 Menu Operation DAB+ Radio DAB mode receives DAB/DAB+ digital radio and displays information about the station, stream and track playing. Scanning for stations The first time you select DAB radio mode, or if the station list is empty, the radio automatically performs a full scan to see what stations are available. - Page 14 2 Turn Navigate knob to scroll through the menu options: • [Station list]: display all DAB radio stations. FM Radio FM radio mode receives analogue radio from the FM band and displays RDS (Radio Data System) information about the station and where broadcast. To find a station, press OK/SCAN. The frequency display starts to run up as the device scans the FM band. Alternatively, you can scan up or down by knob on the device or on the remote control manually... -

Enter AUX mode, then adjust the volume as required. Bluetooth In Bluetooth mode, you can turn on the Bluetooth of your Bluetooth device. From your Bluetooth device, search the radio DAB8339BCD to pairing. When the pairing is successful, there is shown “Connected” on the display. - Page 17 *Finalising enables a CD-R/CD-RW disc to playback on audio players. A disc which has not been finalised may have information added to it using a computer but may not always be playable. Insert a disc with printed side facing up into the CD slot. The disc will be loaded automatically.

8 System settings At playing mode, press to access the menu. Turn Navigate knob repeatedly to select [System settings]. Press Navigate knob to confirm. Backlight You may change the backlight of power on level to High, Medium or Low . And adjust the timeout duration which the radio turns to standby backlight level when it has not been controlled. - Page 20 Alarm Time: Change the alarm time, the setting way is the same as the clock setting. Rotate the reel on the device or press the remote control to adjust, and press OK/SCAN or the reel to confirm. Alarm Source: Set the alarm sound from DAB, FM, or buzzer. Press OK/SCAN to confirm.

Sleep Press and hold on the device or press MENU/INFO on the remote control going to menu to enter to sleep mode. Rotate the reel on the device or press on the remote control to set the sleep time of 15/ 30/ 45/ 60/ 75/ 90/ 105/ 120 minutes. Or set the sleep as Off. -
