Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

1265-001 20V MAX 6-1/2" CIRCULAR SAW When the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls and the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator. If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back edge of the blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out of the kerf and jump back toward the operator.

Never operate the saw while it is being carried to another location. The blade guard may be open and potentially cause serious injury. If the switch fails to turn the saw ON or OFF properly, stop using it immediately and have the saw switch repaired.
