7. Servicing the product

The sensor requires no maintenance. The sensor is
self-cleaning and need no further cleaning.

7.1 Replacing the product

Replace the sensor in case of a sensor fault.
Replacement instructions can be found in
Grundfos Product Center at
www.grundfos.com.

Before starting work on the product,
make sure that the fuses have been
removed or the main switch has been
switched off.
Make sure that the power supply
cannot be accidentally switched on.

been exposed to any harmful external effects or
aggressive substances.

The sensor signal is only valid when oil
and water is mixed, when the pump is
running.
The sensor capability has been verified by
10W40 motor oil. Other types of oil may
have an impact of the measured value.

9. Disposing of the product

This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol
on a product means that it must be
disposed of separately from household
waste. When a product marked with
this symbol reaches its end of life, take
it to a collection point designated by
the local waste disposal authorities.
The separate collection and recycling

environment and human health.
