Installing the Discharge Chute

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Bolt (1/4-20 X 1–1/2 inches)
1 Washer-faced locknut (1/4-20 inch)
Procedure
Insert the chute post through the bracket into the base of the
machine and secure it using a bolt and a locknut

Checking the Engine-Oil Level

No Parts Required
Procedure
Note: Your machine comes with oil in the engine crankcase.
Before starting the engine, check the oil level and add oil if
necessary.
Refer to Checking the Engine-Oil Level (page
5).

Checking the Tire Pressure

No Parts Required
Procedure
The tires are overinflated at the factory for shipping. Reduce
the tire pressure equally in both tires to between 103 and 137
kPa (15 and 20 psi).
