Connections and controls 5.1 Connecting and inserting the battery On delivery of the instrument, a suitable battery is enclosed. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the instrument and connect the lead wire with correct polarity to the battery. Insert the battery into the battery com‐ partment and close the battery compartment cover. -
