Initial set up frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Thank you for choosing a WeeKett smart Wi-Fi kettle. We understand how unpleasant it can be
when technology doesn't work as expected! Hereby we have prepared for an FAQ slip to help
you overcome the most common set up issues. If you suspect the product has a fault, please don't
hesitate to contact us at info@weekett.com and we will be able to assist you with a replacement
within 24 hours.
Wi-Fi indicator
On/off button: long press to change

FAQ 1: The Wi-Fi indicator is not blinking!
Once the kettle is connected to power, the Wi-Fi indicator should start blinking momentarily.
Don't worry if this is not the case - all you have to do is to press and hold the 100°C button (at
least 3 seconds) until the beeping sound and the Wi-Fi indicator should start blinking
momentarily. You can then proceed to connect the kettle to the Wi-Fi.
FAQ 2: I can't connect the kettle to the Wi-Fi – is there a fault with the kettle?
If you can't connect the kettle to the Wi-Fi following on screen instruction in the Smart Life app,
most likely it is due to that both 5ghz and 2.4ghz are present in the Wi-Fi network. Don't worry
- there is an alternative method to bypass it. Below is the step-by-step guide:
Before connecting the kettle, please check that:
1. The kettle body is on the base
2. The 2.4ghz frequency is present in the router setting. Quick tip - if you have any other
working smart devices e.g. Amazon Alexa, it means the 2.4ghz is present and the smart
kettle should work too.
