Magic Text
Magic Text
Magic Text can extract text from images, and you copy, drag, or tap it to get related
services.
The feature availability varies by languages. More languages will be released gradually with the
MagicOS version, please refer to the actual situation.
Enable Magic Text
Tap Settings > Assistant > Magic Text and make sure that Magic Text is enabled.
Extract Text from Images
You can extract text from images in the following two ways:
Tap the
icon to extract text:

Open the image and tap the
text will be highlighted for easy viewing.

When the text is highlighted, you can tap the underlined text to view and select
relevant services. For example, you can perform shortcut operations such as, sending
text messages, or sharing with others.

Drag the cursor to select the recognized text, and in the pop-up menu, you can perform
quick operations such as copy, select all, share, and search.

In the Split-screen mode, you can press and hold the selected text and drag it to
elsewhere, such as Notes and chat boxes.
Long press the text on the image to extract text:

Open the image, and the
area with one finger.

Drag the cursor to select the recognized text, and in the pop-up menu, you can perform
quick operations such as copy, select all, share, and search.

Handwriting recognition is supported. The extraction results may vary with images.

Tap the screen with your knuckles and draw a circle to capture the screen. In the editing
screen, tap
