ABOUT PROTECTION TIME 1. The operator of a battery-operated knapsack sprayer should always be equipped with personal protective equipment during work. Clothes must protect all parts of the operator's body against contact with the sprayed liquid and objects rejected by it during spraying. This also applies to work on preparing the spray liquid and cleaning the field sprayer. -

PRELIMINARY STEPS a) Open the package, then take out the device. b) Remove the protective foil and transport protection (if any). c) Check that the machine and accessories have not been damaged during transport. d) Retain the packaging. ATTENTION! The device and packaging are not for fun! Keep out of the reach of children, risk of swallowing or suffocation. -

PM-OA-16T PM-OA-20T BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. To dismantle the battery, follow the steps in the "Installing the batteries" section. ASSEMBLY OF ACCESSORIES 1. Attach the harness from the sprayer kit to the holes so that the shorter part of the cushion strap is on the top of the tank and the longer part of the strap is on the bottom of the tank. -

COOKING LIQUID, FILLING THE LIQUID TANK When using chemical agents, always follow all safety rules given in this manual (especially safety rules for contact with chemical plant protection products) and recommendations contained in the instructions given by the manufacturer of the chemical agent. Filling the liquid reservoir Before filling the liquid tank, always make sure that the drain valve is in the closed position (lever at right angles to the drain hose). -

Liquid plant protection products: Fill the sprayer liquid tank with 1/4 of the prescribed amount of water. In a separate container, mix the chemical with water according to the manufacturer's instructions. When pouring liquid into the tank, be sure to use the strainer in the filling opening. -

A filter ball valve (b) is located at the end of the lance to minimize liquid dripping through the nozzle with the control valve closed. The mesh size of the filter mesh is 0.35mm. If it is necessary to replace the filter, only use an original filter with the same mesh size. WORKING WITH A SPRAYER When working with the sprayer, follow the safety rules given in this operator's manual and the guidelines below. -

• The red lock (b) can also be used as protection against accidental opening of the valve. To do this, slightly pull the valve lever away from the handle (a) and shift the lock (b) in accordance with the arrow in the adjacent figure. To release this protection, follow the steps in reverse order. -
