NOTICE
Risk of damage to the key!
Place the tow bar in the standby position, with the
key upwards, and store in the box.
Coupling or uncoupling a trailer or accessory
The following information describes the procedure
for coupling and uncoupling a trailer. The information
also refers to another accessory, e.g. a bike carrier.
WARNING
Risk of an accident!
Do not use the safety eye for towing.
Distribute and fix the load correctly.
The trailer has a 13-pin electrical socket. If the
trailer has a 7-pin connector, use a corresponding
adapter from the ŠKODA Original Accessories.
Coupling
Install the tow bar.
tear-off rope must sag against the vehicle in all
trailer positions.
Uncoupling
Uncoupling takes place in reverse order.
Power supply of the trailer power network
In the electrical connection between the vehicle and
trailer, the trailer is powered by the vehicle.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the vehicle electronics!
The total power consumption of all consumers con-
nected to the trailer power supply must not exceed
350 watts.

Troubleshooting
When inserting the tow bar - the operating lever
did not turn or the release pin did not come out
Turn the control lever all the way down.
Remove the tow bar from the mounting recess.
Clean the tow bar and mounting recess contact
surfaces.
When removing the tow bar - the tow bar did not
fall freely into your hand after detachment
Press on the tow bar with your other hand from
top to bottom.
