(1) Input the NTSC black and white signal (color off).
(2) Select the STANDARD mode with [VIDEO STATUS]
key.
(3) Select the FULL mode.
(4) Confirm that the COLOR TEMPERATURE is set at
the LOW.
(5) Select 1.PICTURE/SOUND from the SERVICE
MENU.
(6) Confirm the initial setting values of the < S10 >
(DRIVE R) and < S12 > (DRIVE B).
(7) Select the 3.WHITE BALANCE from SERVICE
MENU.
(8) Use the [2] and [5] or [3] and [6] to produce a white
screen.
(9) Press the [MUTING] key to memorize the set value.
(10) Make sure that the WHITE BALANCE tracking from
the LOW-LIGHT through the HIGH-LIGHT has been
properly done. [When the black and white signal
(color off) is received, the natural white should be
visible.]
(11) Input
COMPONENT VIDEO terminal.
(12) Repeat the steps 5. to 9. as above.
(13) Input the 1080i component video signal to
( )
COMPONENT VIDEO terminal.
(14) Repeat the steps 5. to 9. as above.
(15) If there is a gap with the initial setting values, repeat
the steps 5. to 9. for readjustment.
