How do I reformat my Nike psa player?
For PC users
1. Connect your psa player to your computer.
2. From the task tray Start menu, click on ProgramsèNikeèpsa128maxè Formatter or psa256maxè

3. A Formatter window will pop up. Select the device from the drop-down box and then click START.
4. Click OK to confirm. When the formatting is completed, the Formatting done dialogue box appears and the
player will be ejected by the PC automatically with the warning "Unsafe removal" displayed. Simply click OK and
then disconnect the player.
For MAC users
1. Connect your psa player to your computer.
2. In the Application\psa128max or Application\psa256max folder, click on the Formatter application
3. A Formatter window will pop up. Select the device from the drop-down box and then click START.
4. Click OK to confirm. When the formatting is completed, the Formatting done dialogue box appears and the
player will be ejected by the computer automatically. Click OK and then disconnect the player.

charged. When charged, remove your NiMH battery from the charger to avoid overcharging, which may damage or
shorten the battery lifetime.

Go to the Nike-Philips site at the URL
directory in your computer

1. Make sure that a fresh battery is inserted in your psa player
2. Connect your psa player to your computer.
3. In Windows at StartèProgramsèNikeèpsa128max or psa256max, select Upgrader.
4. An Upgrader window will pop up. Select the file that you have just downloaded from the Nike-Philips site and then
click START to continue.
5. Click OK to start copying the new firmware into your player.
6. Click the eject icon and then disconnect your psa player from your PC.
7. Press the 4; button to switch on the player
8. A message FUPGRADE appears briefly on the player's display.
