b. Test Play the Messages
From normal mode, press the "TEST" key (#9) to enter the test mode. The yellow LED will start to flash.
- Press "0" and the message number ; the dialler will play the selected message and return to normal mode
- OR - press "0" twice ; the dialler will play all recorded messages in order and return to normal mode automatically.
c. Range Test
1. From normal mode, press the "TEST" key (#9) to enter the test mode. The yellow LED will start to flash.
2. Press "∗" to enter the range test mode ; all three LEDs start to flash together.
3. Send either an arming or disarming signal from the control panel to the dialler. The dialler will play a short tune
twice to confirm reception of the signal.
4. Press "CLR" to exit the range test mode.
NOTE: - If the dialler does not respond, verify if it is within the transmission range of the control panel.
- If the dialler does not receive a signal within 10 minutes, it automatically returns to normal mode.

10. Operation

a. Auto Dialling
• Upon receiving a signal from the control panel, the auto dialler will dial out and play the appropriate message.
• If no message or no telephone number is stored, the dialler will not dial.
• When only one telephone number is stored and that number is engaged, the dialler will automatically redial that
number up to a maximum of 5 times with an interval of 62 seconds between dialling attempts.
• When two or more telephone numbers are stored, the dialler will dial in accordance to the priority order number. If
the number is engaged, it will try the next number.
• Each phone number will be tried in rotation for a maximum of 5 times with an interval of 5 seconds between each
phone number.
• When a number is dialled and the call is answered, the dialler will play the appropriate message for 80 seconds.
• If a certain type of alarm occurs and no corresponding message is recorded, the dialler will automatically play the
subsequent message.
• When the auto dialler has received 2 successful acknowledgements from the recipients, it will stop dialling.
NOTE:
- For each phone number dialled 5 times without acknowledgement, a "Failure" is reported and the dialler returns to
normal mode yet beeps every 3 seconds to remind the user.
- When the dialler is dialling yet receives a disarm signal from the control panel, it stops dialling immediately.
- When the dialler is dialling but "CLR" is pressed, it stops dialling immediately.
b. Call Acknowledgement
The recipient should acknowledge a successful call by pressing the "9" or "0" button on his telephone set:
- signal "9": the dialler will accept the acknowledgement and cancel all auto dialling.
- signal "0": the dialler will accept the acknowledgement and continue to dial the next phone number.
