An Operator Wiring Diagram and a Door Strike/Mag Lock wiring diagram for the XL-660 are shown on page 5. • The most common installation connects the XL-660 to a Gate Operator only. Refer to the Operator Wiring Diagram (the top drawing.) • If the XL-660 is being connected to other devices and equipment, such as a door strike or mag lock, use the Door Strike/Mag Lock Wiring Diagram (the lower drawing.)

ACCESS CODES AND FUNCTION CODES There are two types of codes you need to keep in mind when using the XL-660.• Access Codes, quite simply, are the numbers that are programmed into the unit and assigned to the users who need to access the gate or door. The Access Codes are the “everyday”...
GOOD TONES and ERROR TONES The XL-660 sounds an audible tone each time a key is pressed. The star (*) key serves as the clear key and a double tone is sounded when the star (*) key is pressed. The pound (#) key is the exit key and exits the programming mode any time it is pressed.

Unit Reset • Should only be used if the Advantage XL-660 is to be completely reset back to factory default settings. • ALL ACCESS and FUNCTION CODES ARE LOST during a Unit Reset. • The Master code is reset to 1 2 5 1 following a Unit Reset.
