Use speaker wire of sufficient size to ensure adequate current to the speak- er. For Spike Series Subwoofers, this means 10-14 gauge speaker wire. To prevent excessive cone excursion and potential damage to the sub- woofer is it advisable to use a infrasonic (subsonic) filter set 1/2 octave below Fb.
