IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES

Read attentively the user manual, observe its instructions and keep it!

In order to avoid fire hazards or electric injury:

• Read attentively the user manual.
• Use the device according to its in-tended purpose only, as it follows in the manual. Mishandling of the device can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or its property.
• Before switching on make sure that the voltage is in line with the voltage specified on the case of the device.
• The power cord is supplied with "eu-roplug"; insert it into the socket, with a reliable grounding.
• To avoid fire, do not use adapters for the device connection to the electric socket.
• In order to avoid mains overload, do not switch on several devices with high power consumption simultaneously.
• Place the device on a plane heatproof surface so that access to the electrical socket will be free.
• Use the device in rooms with good air-ing. In order to avoid ignition do not place the device near curtains and do not cover it during operation.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• Do not use the electric stove for heating of rooms.
• It is forbidden to use the device in rooms where inflammable substances are stored or used.
• Do not use the device near gas cookers and heaters, do not put it on hot surfaces.
• Do not allow overhanging the power cord from a table, as well as its contact to hot surfaces and sharp edges.
• Do not twist the cord and do not reel it up round the device case.
• When switching-off the power cord plug from the socket do not pull the cord, hold the plug in your hand.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Do not use the device in immediate proximity to a rinse basin, do not expose to moisture influence.
• In order to avoid impact of electric current, do not immerse the power cord, the plug or the device in water or other liquids. If it has occurred, DO NOT touch the device, immediately power it down and call the authorized service centre for checking up.
• Periodically check integrity of the pow-er cord.
• It is forbidden to use the device if the power plug or the cord is damaged if it works with faults, as well as after its falling. Do not try to repair the device by yourself. For all questions of repairing, turn to the authorized service centre.
• 
  during the operating the ring and the case heat up highly, do not touch hot surfaces.
• Do not move the device until it is com-pletely cold.
• Do not allow the children to use the de-vice as a toy.
• This device is not intended for use by children and disabled persons unless persons responsible for their safety have given appropriate and clear instructions about safe using the device and those dangers which can result from its wrong using.
• Never leave the working device without supervision.
• Power down the device when it is not used and before cleaning as well.
• Before cleaning the device make sure that it is cold.
• For cleaning use soft not abrasive washing-up liquids put on a sponge or on soft fabric.
• Use the device only for domestic pur-poses. Keep this user manual.

Placing the electric stove

• Place the device on a plane heatproof surface, capable of carrying the weight of the electric stove and the weight of the cooked food. Use the device in a childproof place.
• Do not use the device in places with high humidity, as well as near inflammable objects and substances.
• Good airing is necessary for correct functioning of the device; provide free space not less than 10-15 cm around the electric stove.
• Make sure, that the power cord has no damages and does not pass through any hot or sharp surfaces.
• Do not place the device in immediate proximity to kitchen cupboards and shelves.
• Do not move the device until it is com-pletely cold and if there is a dish on it.

Before the first switching on

• Before switching on make sure that the voltage is in line with the working voltage of the stove.
• Check up, that the temperature control is in position "0/off".

The use

• Before switching on make sure of ab-sence of water, food on the stove ring.
• Set a dish on the ring centre.
• Insert a plug of the power cord into the socket.
• Choose an operating mode of the stove using the temperature control (3):
  "0" - the stove is off;
  "1" - the minimum heating temperature;
  "5" - the maximum heating temperature.

Note: At the first switching on the heating element burns, therefore occurrence of a small amount of smoke or extraneous smell is possible and is a normal phenomenon.

• After completion of cooking set the temperature control in position "0/ off" and take out the power cord plug from the socket.

The surface of the ring and the case itself heat up during the operating and remain hot for some time after switching off.

Attention!
In order to avoid damage of the device do not switch it on without a dish set on the ring, and do not use the electric stove for heating of rooms.

Note: For maintenance of the best contact to a ring it is recommended to choose a dish with a flat bottom and suitable for the diameter of the ring.

Cleaning and care

It is forbidden to immerse the device in water or other liquids.

• Clean the electric stove regularly.
• Set the temperature control in position "0/off"
• Switch off the device from the mains, taking out the power cord plug from a socket, let the device get cold.
• For cleaning use soft not abrasive washing-up liquids put on a sponge or on soft fabric, do not use abrasive washing-up liquids.

Storage

• Clean the device before storing.
• Reel off the power cord.
• Keep the device in a dry cool childproof place.
