RECHARGING

Before first use, fully charge your Blinder Road light.

  1. Flip USB plug into charging position (Fig. J)
  2. Ensure USB plug is free from debris
  3. Insert USB plug into charging device. Should ports be overcrowded, use USB extension cord. (Fig. K)

Note: L.B.I. LED; red when charging, green when charged. A full charge cycle takes approximately 5-6 hours.

  1. ON/OFF/MODE BUTTON.
  • ON/OFF: Press and hold button for 2 seconds, then release
  • MODE SWITCHING: Press button quickly to cycle continuously through modes

Fits best on 22 to 32mm bar diameters*

  1. Pull silicone strap around bar as far as needed
  2. Engage clasp into hook


*Mounting onto oversize or aero-style handlebars will subject the strap to undue stress and may cause irreparable damage.

STORAGE MODE

Storage mode optimises battery longevity. Utilise it when lights are not used for extended periods (more than a fortnight). After storage, recharge battery to full before use.

Procedure

  1. Fully charge the Blinder until L.B.I. LED turns green
  2. Remove from power source
  3. Turn the light on to any mode (button 1)
  4. Hold button for 5 seconds (until the L.B. LED glows red)

Notes:
The light will drain itself to the optimum voltage level and turn itself off. It will flash 3 times before turning off. This signals storage mode completion.

CAUTIONS

OPERATING TEMPERATURES

  • Charge indoors in temperatures above 10oC (50oF).
  • Operates best in temperatures between 0oC (32oF) and 40oC (104oF).
  • Run time is expected to reduce by about 5% in temperatures below 0oC (32oF)

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Designed for use on bicycles in a wide range of outdoor conditions. Therefore dirt and dust is likely to accumulate on your light over time. Use a lint-free damp cloth to clean. Make sure there is no grit in the cloth to avoid damaging any part of your light.

  • Use only with approved USB charging devices
  • Do not dispose of product in fire or expose to extreme heat
  • Do not attempt to disassemble product
  • Do not press button with sharp object or fingernails
  • Repeat storage mode procedure every 3 motnsh of disuse to maintain battery longevity
  • Mounting incorrectly or onto oversize bars and aero style bars can cause irreparable damage
