IMPORTANT NOTES
1. This product should be installed, commissioned and maintained by or under the supervision of a competent electrician
in accordance w ith current electrical engineering Codes of Practice, Regulations for the Electrical equipment of
Buildings (BS7671), CDM2007 - Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, HSG150 - Health and
Safety in Construction, Statutory requirements and any Specific instruction issued by the Company.
2. After completing the installation and testing of this product it is essential that this leaflet is draw n to the attention of
the person responsible for its future operation and maintenance, and is at all times available for ready reference.
3. These notes assume throughout that the product is disconnected from the supply. It is essential that this is done
before any w ork is carried out.
These Distribution Boards are
designed only for
MCB's and RCBO's as listed in the
current Memshield 3 catalogue.
Failure to comply w ill result in
invalid w arranty and certification.

ENCLOSURE MOUNTING
To assist installation
a. Remove endplates for (i) drilling, (ii) for fitting
enclosure to trunking.
b. Remove Pan Assembly by slackening Neutral Busbar
Connection 'N1' and the 2 pan fixing screws.
c. Fix enclosure to wall
N.B. Endplate fixing screws are of a special type provided to
ensure the endplates are electrically bonded to the enclosure.
Do not replace with screws of another type. After refitting Pan
Assembly ensure Neutral link is connected to 'N1' and all
fixing screws are tight.
RECOMMENDED TORQUE 2.4Nm.

tighten to 2.5Nm

tighten to 2.4Nm
NOTE
To ease fitting of incoming cable the Neutral Terminal
is removable.
1. Remove Pan assembly.
2. Remove 'N' assembly by slackening 'N' assembly
fixing screw(s) and pull in direction of arrow.
