To reduce the risk of injury to persons:
1. Do not overheat liquids.
2. Stir the liquid before and halfway through cooking.
3. Do not use containers with straight sides and narrow necks.
4. After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave for a short time
before removing it.
5. Use extreme caution when inserting spoons or other utensils into the container.
18. Large-sized food or large metal utensils should not be inserted into a microwave/toaster
oven as they can create a fire or electric shock hazard.
19. Do not clean with metal wire pastes. Parts of the paste may come off and touch the
electrical parts resulting in a risk of electrical shock.
20. Do not use paper products when the appliance is used in the toaster mode.
21. Do not store any materials, other than those accessories recommended by the manufac-
turer, inside the oven when not in use.
22. Do not cover the shelves or any other part of the oven with aluminum foil. This will cause
the oven to overheat.
PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE
ENERGY
a. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open, as operation with the door open
may result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to tamper with or
damage the safety locks.
b. Do not block any objects between the front face and the door or allow dirt or cleaning fluid
residue to accumulate on the sealing surfaces.
c. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door
closes properly and that there is no damage to the door:
1. DOOR (bent)
2. HINGES AND BOLTS (broken or loose)
3. DOOR SEALS AND SEALING SURFACES
d. The oven must not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service
personnel.
