    • The complete operating and installation instructions must always be carried in the vehicle. Intended use • This eSlider is only suitable for use in the named vehicle types; it may only be installed in these vehicle types. • The eSlider replaces an original seat without a lateral airbag.

    Safety information Foreseeable misuse • The red markings indicate the risk of injury when moving the eSlider. • It is not permitted to operate the eSlider while driving. • On the whole, private individuals are not permitted to store airbags.

    The Veigel eSlider is a fully-electric transfer seat console. Besides the 6 main dir- ections (forwards-backwards, up-down, right turn-left turn), the 6+2-way version also offers a tilt seat adjustment function. This offers a great advantage when sitting in the vehicle to improve lateral support, avoid bruising and lift the feet off the floor when transferring from the vehicle seat to the wheelchair and vice versa.

    • Keep the type approval, the installation and operating instructions, and the vehicle documents together inside the vehicle. • When the eSlider is installed, it replaces the original seat with airbag. The lat- eral airbag on the passenger side will be deactivated.

Push the tilt setting switch back while at the same time pushing the memory switch forwards. You only need to press the switch briefly in order to save the position.

  • Page 23 When delivered, the backup battery is not connected in order not to discharge it. Before the eSlider can be put into operation, the backup battery must be connected . To do this, connect the black cable to the cable set.

    • Please read these operating instructions carefully before installing the eSlider. • Pass the operating instructions on to the customer, together with the installa- tion instructions for the eSlider and any parts certificate, when you hand over the vehicle. • Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety provisions when install- ing and maintaining the eSlider.

    Assembly Assembling the control unit Assemble the control unit on the lift unit. Use the relevant drill hole pattern depending on the position of the control unit. For this purpose, use the attachment set provided. The hexagon nuts must always be facing outwards.

    Assembly Adjusting the control unit If all the control unit buttons are to be used, we recommend a horizontal positioning of the control unit. If only the control unit's memory function is to be used, we recommend positioning it at an angle of 25°.

    Disposal Comply with national waste disposal directives. We ensure that the majority of the materials used to make our eSlider are re- cyclable, right from the design phase. The packaging consists of cardboard boxes and, in some instances, films that can be handed in at recycling centres or disposed of in public waste collection bins in Germany.
