This AED is for use on someone who has suffered a sudden cardiac arrest: • Heart has suddenly stopped beating (no pulse) • Unconscious • Not breathing normally A sudden cardiac arrest is not the same as a heart attack, where a person is awake and may have chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, or tightness in the chest or somewhere else in the body.

    Maintain your AED Your HeartSine SAM 350P AED runs a self-test each Sunday at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. If an issue is found during the self-test, the status indicator will change from flashing green to flashing red and you will hear an alert and voice instructions.
