SETTING UP YOUR COOLER

Before using your cooler

  • Remove the exterior and interior packing.
  • Let your cooler stand upright for approximately a half hour before connecting it to power to reduce the possibility of a cooling system malfunction.
  • Clean the inside with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.

Find a suitable location

DO

  • Place your cooler on a floor, countertop, or cabinet that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded.
  • Allow 1.6 inches (4 cm) of space on all sides of your cooler to allow for correct air ventilation.
  • Place your cooler away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, or radiator). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Room temperature below 50°F (10°C) or above 85°F (29.4°C) hinders the performance.

DON'T

  • Recess or build it in. Your cooler is designed to be free standing only.
  • Place your cooler in moist areas.
  • Use your cooler in a garage or any other outside installation.

Level your cooler

If your cooler is not level, the door may not close or seal correctly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems.

  • To level your cooler, raise or lower the leveling foot by turning it clockwise or counterclockwise.

Connect to power

  • Plug in and run your cooler for two to three hours before making any temperature adjustments and before adding beverages. This allows your cooler to reach a stable temperature.

warning Note: Check your local power source. Your cooler requires a 110 V ~ 120 V, 60 Hz power supply. Use a receptacle that accepts the grounding prong. The power cord is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from your cooler.

USING YOUR COOLER

Setting the temperature

  • Press the Temperature up ( ) or down ( ) buttons, to increase or decrease the temperature by one degree.
  • The temperature range is 34° ~ 50°F (1° ~ 10°C).
  • Press and hold the Temperature up () or down ( ) buttons at the same time for three seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • If you experience a power outage, your cooler remembers the currently set temperature and returns to that setting when power is restored.

Using the display

  • When you plug in your cooler for the first time, the display screen turns on for three seconds, and you hear a start-up tone.
  • In normal mode, the display shows the set temperature.

Lighting your cooler

  • Press Light () to turn the interior light on or off. The buzzer sounds when the light is turned on or off.

Entering standby mode

  • Press and hold Standby () for three seconds. The buzzer sounds and the display turns off.
  • To return to normal mode, press Standby ( ) again.

Reversing the door

  • See the online user guide for steps on reversing the door.

CLEANING YOUR COOLER

  1. Turn off your cooler and unplug it from the wall outlet.
  2. Remove all beer and beverages.
  3. Wash the inside with a damp warm cloth soaked in a solution of one quart of lukewarm water to two tablespoons of baking soda solution.
  4. Be sure to keep the door gasket (seal) clean to keep your cooler running efficiently.
  5. Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.

TIPS ON SAVING ENERGY

  • Place your cooler in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts and out of the direct sunlight.
  • Do not overload your cooler because it forces the compressor to run longer.
  • Do not open the door too often, especially if the weather is hot. Close the door as soon as possible to prevent cool air from escaping.
  • Make sure that your cooler is sufficiently ventilated with adequate air circulation.
