With the controller turned off, press and hold the Home + Z buttons to enter pairing mode. LED2 and LED3 will flash.
Plug the receiver to the powered console and press the pairing button until synced.
Once connected, the controller will vibrate and LED2 and LED3 will remain on.
To enable 3-Button mode, press and hold Start + A B C until the controller vibrates. Repeat this input to return to 6-button mode.

Press and hold the PS + Share buttons on the controller to enter pairing mode.
Plug the receiver to the powered console and press the pairing button until synced.
Once connected, the controller's LED light and the receiver's LED will remain on.

Press the Guide button on the controller to power it on.
Press the pairing button to enter pairing mode.
Plug the receiver to the powered console and press the pairing button until synced.
Once connected, the controller's LED light and the receiver's LED will remain on.

Press the Home button the controller to power it on.
Press the pairing button to enter pairing mode.
Plug the receiver to the powered console and then press the pairing button until synced.
Once connected, the controller's LED and the receiver's LED will remain on.
