After installing the HDD in the PlayStation
either the vertical or horizontal position.
Caution
• Do not change the position of the console while it is in operation. Doing so may damage the
HDD or cause the console to malfunction.
• Never move a console in such a way that the installed HDD will be exposed to physical
shock or vibration. Doing so may damage the HDD.
