Enhancing Remote Control Operation Range
The operation ra nge of the remote control u n it is approx. 9.8 feet (3m) at a n a n gle of approx 30
from the center to the top/bottom/right/left of the remote control sensor built in the bottom bezel
of the prod uct. The operation ra nge can be enha nced to 23 feet (7m) by using the supplied
externa l IR receiver.

Please do not put the

of the prod uct.

Do not expose the remote control u n it to shock by d ropping or stepping on it.
This could lead to a malfu nction.
Do not expose the remote control u n it to liqu ids, and do not place it in an a rea with high h u midity.
The remote control u n it may not work properly if the remote control sensor is u nder d i rect sun light or
strong lighting.
Objects between the remote control u n it and the remote control sensor may prevent proper operation.
Replace the batteries when they ru n low as this may shorten the remote control's operation ra nge.
If a fluorescent light is illuminated near the remote control u n it, it may interfere with proper operation.
Do not use it with the remote control of other eq u i pment such as a i r conditioner, stereo com ponents, etc.

to the sensor and attach
the sensor onto a visi ble
position such as top or side
of the prod uct. It can a lso
be attached onto a wa ll or a
ca rt ( Q a re exa m p les of
sensor location).
A receivi ng device is b u i lt in the portion ind icated in the
illustration. Please opti m ize the sensor position so that the
receivi ng device faces the remote control.
