Positioning the sticker over the button

Proceed as follows to position the sticker over the button:
 Bend the template and align it with the cover strip's milling groove.
 Stick the sticker on the area marked by the hole in the template on the front
of the cover strip.
Precisely positioning the sticker makes operation easier.
 Ensure that the sticker sticks to the cover strip.
 Attach the cover strip to the ventilation profile. Ensure that the milling groove
is located above the button on the ventilation system.

Connecting the external button

The following accessories are required to connect the external button:
• Connection cable for external button (available from GEALAN,
item no.: 5447 99)
• Floating flush-mounted pushbutton (not available from GEALAN).

Cable assignment for the flush-mounted button

You must connect the cables as follows for using a floating flush-mounted
button:
• GND: brown / neutral conductor
• S1: black / signal line 1
• S2: orange / signal line 2
• VDD: red / optional 5 V supply line

Enabling the external button

You must enable the external button after assembling it. The button is enabled
using the GEALAN HOME app.
