    Preparations 1. Place the machine on a firm, level table. Optional (A): Attach table clamps to 2 corners of the profiler. 2.     Profiling a reed 1. Place the blank centrally on the reed support. The line on the support indicates the position of the finished reed tip (after clipping). The blank tip must not be more than 2 mm above the line. 2.

    Adjusting reed thickness • Correct reed thickness with Allen key (2.5mm). • The left and right reed sides can be adjusted independently of each other. • One graduation mark of the adjusting screws corresponds to 0.01mm reed thickness. • Mark your settings on the scale rings with a pen.     Change template 1. Loosen (counterclockwise) screws (2x) with Allen key (2.5mm) and remove template. Clean the connection points. 2. Insert new template. Fasten screws (clockwise) again and tighten only slightly. To avoid damage to the reed support, the reed thickness should be set approx. 0.1mm (10 graduation marks) thicker (+) after each conversion.

    Change blade 1. Loosen (counterclockwise) screws (2x) with Allen key (2mm) and remove blade from the side. Clean the connection points. 2. Insert new blade. Screw in screws (clockwise) again and tighten only slightly. Press the blade upwards while tightening. It must rest against the upper stop over its entire length.

    Change support plate 1. Loosen (counterclockwise) screws (2x) with Allen key (2.5mm) and remove reed support plate. Clean the connection points. 2. Insert new reed support plate. Screw in screws (clockwise) again and tighten only slightly. To avoid damage to the reed support, the reed thickness should be set approx.
