Description and Mounting The FMS Center 2000+ Series unit should be mounted so it will not be exposed to damage from people or objects. The cables that connect to the unit should also be routed to protect them from possible damage. The unit must be mounted where it will not be exposed to excessive heat generated by the vehicle operation and away from moving parts. -

Page 17: Troubleshooting
Vehicle speed and RPM signals should be calibrated using the proximity cards. These cards can be programmed for each company using the same FMS Office 2000 application. The calibrations can be performed either automatic (set the known speed or RPM calibration value) or manual (measure the specific distance and write the same distance value on the card).
