    Description and Mounting The FMS Center 2000+ Series unit should be mounted so it will not be exposed to damage from people or objects. The cables that connect to the unit should also be routed to protect them from possible damage. The unit must be mounted where it will not be exposed to excessive heat generated by the vehicle operation and away from moving parts.

    | Hardware Installation Manual Operation Instructions Installations must be performed by a qualified automotive and FMS Tech certified technician. Vehicle engine, battery and Vehicle lines must be in good working condition All vehicle functions such as light, door, seat-belt, air condition etc. must be in good working condition (Optional) Prepare suitable Tools ( screwdriver, pliers, wire stripper, solder, multi-meter, wrench set, Electrical tape or shrink tubing and cable tie).

    | Hardware Installation Manual Optional - Power Control Outputs Connection The FMS Center 2000+ Series unit has two power control outputs: Output (P2-16) that is non-regulated voltage (Vehicle voltage 12 Volt or 24 Volt). Output (P1-15) that is regulated voltage (8.6 Volt).

    Vehicle speed and RPM signals should be calibrated using the proximity cards. These cards can be programmed for each company using the same FMS Office 2000 application. The calibrations can be performed either automatic (set the known speed or RPM calibration value) or manual (measure the specific distance and write the same distance value on the card).
