    SURROUND Setting the Delay Time As the SURROUND speaker is normally placed near the listening position, it is nearer to the listening position than the FRONT speaker. Subsequently, since the sounds from the SURROUND speaker will be heard quicker than those from the FRONT speaker, set the delay time for the sounds from the SURROUND speaker so that the SURROUND and FRONT speakers are virtually the same distance from the listening position.

    SURROUND Switching the DOLBY VIRTUAL This unit is equipped with a DOLBY VIRTUAL function which realizes virtual surround effects using two FRONT speakers in addition to DOLBY PRO LOGIC and DSP modes. Actually the sounds are output only from the two FRONT speakers, however it would seem as if sounds are also being produced from the back.
