    Safety Precautions Personnel Requirements The hoisting, transportation, installation, wiring, operation, and maintenance of the BESS must be carried out by professional electricians in accordance with local regulations. The professional technician is required to meet the following requirements: • Know electronic, electrical wiring and mechanical expertise, and be familiar with electrical and mechanical schematics.

Wait 5 minutes to ensure the equipment is completely voltage-free before operating.     There are no user-maintainable parts inside the battery unit. Only personnel approved by SUNGROW can remove, replace and dispose of the batteries. Users are not allowed to maintain batteries without guidance. To avoid electric shock, do not perform any other maintenance operations beyond those described in this manual.

    System Manual 8 Fire Suppression Exhaust System The combustible gas alarm system and the emergency ventilation system are installed in the battery container for fire warning. If the combustible gas concentration reaches 10% LEL, the combustible gas detector acts and transmits the fire alarm signal to the fire alarm host outside the container, which will then start the ventilation system through the control module, and send the fire alarm signal to the BMS to shut down the system.

    10 SOC Calibration Instructions 10.1 Calibration Before Initial Commissioning or After Long-term Storage The battery system shall be tested according to the nominal power of the product before being put into operation for the first time or after being stored for over 6 months. A standard calibration process includes three phases: fully discharge, time of repose (2.5 h), and fully charge, as described below.
