Problem
Machine does not start
Motor switches off
Lawn mower moves,
but does not cut
Output not satisfactory
or motor is diffi cult to
operate

Rechargeable battery not
inserted
Cover (1) is open
Defective motor
Grass too long
Blockage by foreign body
Blades blunt or defective
Cutting motor defective
Cutting height too low
Blades (20) blunt
Blade area blocked
Blades (20) incorrectly mount-
ed
Blade bolts (34) loose
Blades (20) damaged
Routing error: 90° corners can
lead to signal loss
Remedy
Insert rechargeable battery
(see "Replacing the recharge-
able battery")
Close cover (1)
Send the device in to the Ser-
vice Centre for repair
Mow the lawn area before-
hand, if necessary.
Set higher cutting height.
Remove foreign body
Replace blades (see "Turning/
replacing blades")
Contact manufacturer (see
"Service Centre")
Set higher cutting height
Sharpen or replace blades
Clean device
Install blades correctly
Tighten blade bolts
Replace blade
Take corners widely or at a
45° angle
