    While sailing and NMEA on, a high frequency data acquisition ensures precise monitoring. When out of the boat, power and NMEA off, YS PRO enters in a super low consumption mode. Only ac- cessories, batteries and power status are shared. However, YS PRO integrates a digital switch feature allowing you to turn on NMEA 2000 for a brief instant from the app.

    NMEA is needed. The screen will help you during the configuration. After that, all the system is monitored through the app, a direct access to the YS PRO after installation is therefore not nec- essary. This is why we recommend if possible to install your YS PRO in your distribution cabinet.

    ATTACH YS PRO TO YOUR BOAT Find the best location for your YS PRO. We recommend YS PRO to be installed in a covered area (in a cabinet if possible) where you have access to NMEA and to the distribution board. Use the 4 screws to attach the YS PRO vertically as following.

    CONNECT THE CENTRAL UNIT TO NMEA 2000 to acquire data from your boat, YS PRO needs to be wired to NMEA 2000. YS PRO is integrated with an auto-scale program. It will automatically identify the different NMEA sources. Please refer to p25 for the range of collected data.

    Voltage detection allows users to visual- ize in the YS Pro app if this device is on or off 24/7, for how long it’s been used for the last 24h/ since inception and to notify when maintenance is due if the maintenance settings have been filled in.

    YS PRO allows you different configurations depending on your need and your boat. The power cable is composed of 5 smaller cables: black / red / white / green / yellow. YS PRO requires to be connected to your main battery, the others configurations are optional.

    To pair a new one, click on the “+” button on top right of the screen. Turn on your sensor and wait until YS PRO finds your device. Refer to the installation guide in- cluded in every accessory package.

    ADDITIONAL WIRELESS ACCESSORIES Sentinel Cam2 Waterproof camera with a high definition (1080p) intelligent motion sensor. Entry Sensor Ensure that your boat is never left unsupervised. Smoke Sensor Smoke and temperature monitoring for optimal fire detection. Heat Sensor Temperature monitoring for optimal fire detection. Air quality Sensor Monitoring of VOC levels, humidity, and temperature.
  • Page 21 All sensors are wireless. Range is 7 to 15 meters. Sensors are monitored 24/7. Battery level and signal strength of each sensor can be monitored via the YS PRO touchscreen. Any sensors will automatically turn on the 85db built-in siren included in the Bilge Sensor, the Smoke sensor and the Heat sensor.

    Shipping Mode This is the state of the YS PRO when you will receive it. No functions are running. This mode will allow your YS PRO to save it’s internal battery when not wired to the boat. To activate your prod- uct and disactivate de shipping mode, YS PRO needs to be wired to a boat battery.

    Exception: WI-FI hotspot If the WI-FI hotspot feature is used, YS PRO will stay in normal state. To turn the YS PRO in pow- er saving state, the WI-FI hotspot needs to be turned off via the user app.

    These data are collected and sent 24/7. Video footage from Sentinel Cam 2 If a sim card is inserted in YS Pro, YS Pro can act as a Wi-Fi router and send a short video to the app if Sentinel Cam 2 detects an intrusion.
