USE AND CARE
Congratulations on your purchase of the Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat. The Obus
Ultra Forme™ Seat's unique design evenly distributes your body weight, assists
circulation through the lower extremities and reduces pressure points by adding
cushioning comfort to your tailbone, sitting bones and thighs.
When used with the Obus Ultra Forme™ Backrest, it will create a
complete, comfortable and ergonomic sitting experience by:
• Encouraging optimum alignment of the pelvis and spine
• Reducing pressure and postural strain on the back
FEATURES
• Contoured sides support your pelvis and hips in a comfortably
balanced position.
• Raised center portion separates your legs slightly and tilts your pelvis
backward to eliminate excess lumbar curve and reduce spinal strain.
• Cut-out at the center of the seat's posterior reduces pressure on your
tailbone.
• Removable front zippered section adjusts the depth to fit almost any chair,
allowing for proper knee clearance and unrestricted circulation.
• Two "hook and loop" fastening tabs allow you to securely attach your
Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat to the Obus Ultra Forme™ Backrest or any
Obus Forme™ by Conair ® Backrest Support.
• Polyurethane foam construction absorbs compression forces and dissipates
the vibrations created in moving vehicles, making it the perfect traveling
companion.
CREATiNg yOUR ERgONOMiC SEATiNg SySTEM
Create a complete, comfortable and ergonomic sitting experience by
using your Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat together with the Obus Ultra Forme™
Backrest. When used together, they encourage optimum alignment of the
pelvis and spine, and reduce pressure and postural strain on the back.
USiNg yOUR ERgONOMiC SEATiNg SySTEM
1. To attach the Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat to the Obus Ultra Forme™ Backrest,
take the two "hook and loop" fastening tabs located at the back of the
seat and position and press them up and onto the back of the Obus Ultra
Forme™ Backrest for a snug fit (see diagrams).
2. Move your ergonomic seating system into its location and position it with
the Obus Ultra Forme™ Backrest resting on top of the Obus Ultra Forme™
Seat.
3. Stretch the elastic straps of the Obus Ultra Forme™ Backrest around the
chair or seat. Tighten the straps using the adjustable buckles. Again, ensure
the backrest is resting on top of the seat.
4. Adjust the position of the back of your chair by tilting it backward or
forward as necessary.
5. Before using your Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat or the Obus Ultra Forme™
Backrest in a vehicle, please consult the owner's manual to ensure that you
can properly adjust your vehicle's seat and/or headrest after installation.
Obus Ultra Forme Seat Use and Care Tips
™
• The one-size-fits-all Obus Ultra Forme™ Seat can fit any chair, anywhere.
• The seat should never overlap or fold over the front of any chair. If it does,
simply remove the front zippered section.
• Sponge-wash the cover of your seat; DO NOT rub excessively.
• DO NOT place the seat or its cover in the washing machine.
