The screen is blank and manual calls for a reset but no reset button visible in battery compartment
To reset the Panasonic KX-TGDA59C when the screen is blank and there is no reset button in the battery compartment, try the following steps:
1. Remove the batteries from the handset.
2. Wait for about 1 minute to allow the handset to fully power down.
3. Reinsert the supplied rechargeable Ni-MH AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Place the handset on the charger and confirm that “Charging” appears on the screen.
5. Wait until the screen becomes active. If the screen remains blank, ensure the batteries are charged and correctly installed.
If the screen does not respond after following these steps, the handset may require service.
