Using the AquaFloss Compact dental water flosser

Using the AquaFloss Compact dental water flosser

  1. Attach head to water flosser. It will click into place when correctly inserted.
  2. Open water cap and fill reservoir with water no hotter than 40°C, then close cap and make sure the water is not overflowing.
  3. There are two ways to fill the reservoir: the method shown in Fig. 2 and that shown in Fig. 3, where you slide the reservoir down to detach it from the main unit and fill it via the threaded fitting at the top.
  4. Press Mode button and choose desired flossing mode. You can change modes while flossing.
    Modes:
    Normal – for regular flossing.
Soft – for gentle flossing of sensitive gums.
Pulse – for flossing and massaging gums.
  5. Leave your mouth slightly open to allow water to flow freely from your mouth into the sink. Choose the mode and press the On/Off button to begin flossing. Direct the water jet onto your teeth and gums at an angle of 90°. Slowly move the jet of water around your teeth. Direct water flow onto gums and between teeth. The AquaFloss Compact is suitable for cleaning braces - aim the water jet between the braces brackets.
  6. When you want to change heads, press the On/Off button and then the head release button. Remove the head and insert another, if needed.
  7. After flossing, turn the appliance off using the On/Off button. Open the water reservoir cap and pour out the remaining water. Turn the appliance on again using the On/Off button to empty the water from the pump. Press the On/Off button to switch off the appliance and close the water reservoir cap. Wipe the appliance with a dry cloth.

warning Note: To prevent the spread of bacteria, make sure no water remains in the appliance. If you are not intending to use the appliance for some time, make sure it is completely dry before storing.
