BEFORE YOU START

Check the contents: MX-10 camera, USB cable, memory stick with Pixelman software
package and the Experiment Guide, Quick start guide.

Warning:

the camera chip is very fragile – DO NOT touch it or clean it under any
circumstances and avoid any mechanical shock!

keep the protective sliding cover over the chip at all times unless you are carrying
out an experiment

the camera is not waterproof

The maximum time of an experiment in vacuum (20 Pa) is 30 min.
(max. 35 °C on the chip surface)

- Page 2 Consider carefully which computer you will install the software on – each installation on a computer will require its own SW license activation. You need internet access for the installation (for off-line installation please contact us at mx-10@jablotron.cz). 2.2. Connect the attached fl ash drive to your computer.
- Page 3 3.3. Place a radiation source in the desired position, click the START button in the Pixelman SW and you can start your experiment. The default setting was chosen to suit most common experiments. However, you can change the setting and the program will automatically save it when switched off (does not apply for the bias setting).
