Power-on/off

The Power button is located on the side of the control panel.

Power on/off: Press and hold the Power button for 2s. The earphones will automatically enter Pairing mode when powered on for the first time.

Pairing

Method 1: Pairing over Bluetooth

1. Press and hold the Power button for 4s until a tone is played to notify you that the earphones are waiting to connect.
2. With Bluetooth enabled on your phone, search for and pair with HUAWEI FreeLace.

Method 2: Pairing via HUAWEI HiPair

With Bluetooth enabled on your phone, insert the built-in USB-C plug into your phone, and follow the onscreen instructions. Visit the official Huawei website to find out about the device models that support this connection method.

Choose a pair that you find most comfortable.

Button controls

Pause/Play: Press the Function button once.
Next song: Press the Function button twice.
Previous song: Press the Function button three times.

Answer/End a call: Press the Function button once.
Reject an incoming call: Press and hold the Function button for 2s.

Wake up the voice assistant: When playing music or in standby mode, press and hold the Function button for 2s.

Charging the earphones

Method 1: Charging with a charging cable

Connect your earphones to a charger using an adapter cable.

Method 2: Charging via HUAWEI HiPair

Insert the USB-C plug on your earphones into your phone to reverse charge your earphones (your phone must support reverse charging).

Restoring to factory settings

Factory reset: Press and hold the Power button for 10s until the indicator flashes red. Once this is done, the earphones will restart.
