IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
• Ensure that the appliance is not too close to any heating appliances or placed in direct
sunlight.
• Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of the local
network before connecting the appliance to the outlet.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst connected to the mains supply.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
• It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the machine is used, before it is cleaned
and whilst being repaired.
• Close supervision is required when using this product near children.
• Never leave the appliance within the reach of children.
• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
Improper repair may place the user at serious risk.
• This appliance is intended for household use only and should not be used for industrial
purposes.
• Do not operate this appliance with a damaged plug or cord, after a malfunction, or
after being dropped or damaged in any way.
• Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Do not use or store this appliance near bath tubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
• If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
• Never place the appliance on soft furnishing e.g. beds, couches etc.
• Place the appliance on a firm, stable, heat resistant surface in between straightening.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Insert the power plug into a wall socket.
2. Slide the ON/OFF switch into position 1 or 2 to turn the appliance ON.
3. The blue indicator light will illuminate and your straightener will be ready for use
within a few minutes.
HOW TO STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR
1. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly your hair.
2. Comb and dry your hair.
3. Divide your hair into sections not more than 2 inches wide and ½ an inch thick,
brushing the sections thoroughly to remove any tangles.
4. Clamp the heated plated over your hair for 5 to 8 seconds for fins hair and 10 to 15
seconds for thick hair.
5. Heating plates are coated with ceramic which preserves the hairs natural moisture for
styles without frizz. These easy to clean plates emit high, constant heat to penetrate
hair follicles quickly and retain natural moisture whilst minimizing damage for soft,
luxurious styles.
6. Switch the straigheners OFF and unplug the power plug from the mains supply once
styling is finished.
