4-9-1. USB Log saving Function guide

„ Summary
This document describe method about encrypting printed log from set, saving that by usb memory, decoding encryption log file
for help you to analyze defects generated Smart Signage.
Stored Content
1. Debug log through serial out
2. Final stored Log and Kernel Log in case of abnormal termination like assert
3. Ascertainable portion information when you enter the Factory Mode
- WatchDoc On/Off
- WatchDoc Count
- AR Count
Encryption
All of the saved files in USB are encryption saved file.
If you want to see a file contents, you need to decode that.
You can use the Decryption tool for decoding encryption file. After using the decryption tool,you can check log contents
„ Log Storage Method
Execution Sequence
1.
Copy epcontrol_info
file to USB root
(Warning) If you send epcontrol_info by mySingle, it can change the file name from epcontrol_info to epcontrol_infonull. In
this case, you have to change file name – epcontrol_info- and then copy to USB.
2. When you plug the USB in set, it starts saving log automatically
1) If Factory Option is set as follow, TV set can reboot for revitalizing to print Log.
(When you plug the USB in set, it can reboot once. After rebooting, it can reboot again pass by 30 seconds.
Total twice reboot).
Warning) Do not plug the usb into set if set should not be rebooted.
- RS-232 Jack : UART
- Serial Log On/Off : OFF
2) When you make a progress development step, put a option like this :
RS-232 Jack : Debug, Serial Log On/Off : ON
it can execute log storage function without rebooting even if you plug the USB.
