    Pure 500 is a reverse osmosis demineralizer, a natural addition to the range of steam sterilizers. It has an elegant and compact design that combines ease of use and high reliability. PRESENTATION Pure 500 is hence an interesting option for users that require professional devices with an excellent quality/ price/performance ratio. mAIN PERFORmANCES Pure 500 has been designed to demineralize mains drinking water for subsequent automatic feeding into steam sterilizers.

    ProVIDE FUrTHEr INFormaTIoN. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS Install Pure 500 on autoclaves using the accessories provided with the demineralizer; do not install in humid or poorly ventilated environments; do not install in environments where there are flammable and/or explosive gases or vapours;...

    INSTALLING THE OSmOTIC Take the osmotic membrane cartridge and the vessel fitting/removing wrench out of the accessory kit: mEmBRANE CARTRIDGE a) Undo the screws (1) that secure the cover to the frame of the demineralizer using a cross-head screwdriver (not provided). B) Lift the plastic cover (2) of the demineralizer and place it on a flat surface.
  • Page 14 (9) from the coupling. D) Using both hands, grip the membrane vessel (4) positioned horizontally in the front part of the deminerali- zer and remove it from the brackets (5) fitted on the Pure 500 frame.

G) Insert the osmotic membrane cartridge (11) in the osmotic membrane vessel (4). H) Screw on the head (4a) of the osmotic membrane vessel (4) using the wrench (10).

    CONNECTING PURE 500 TO Pure 500 must be installed on the right-hand side of the autoclaves using the devices that form part of the AUTOCLAVES standard equipment of the demineralizer. m) Take the following out of the accessory kit: - the filling tube (3 m, 1/4” Ø) - 1 spigot union for 1/4”...

    CONNECTING TO THE WATER For Pure 500 to function it needs to be connected to a mains drinking water tap using the devices supplied mAINS standard with the demineralizer: T) Take the following out of the accessory kit: - the 1/2” female-3/4” male reducer;...
  • Page 21 W) Fasten the other free end of the tube (17) to the Pure 500 (19) inlet.
  • Page 22 ) Fasten one end of the tube (30) to the wastewater outlet quick-coupling (32) of Pure 500, then fasten the other end to the intermediate quick-coupling (33). ) Take a spigot union for 1/4” tube (35) and, after removing the clip and cap, insert it in the free outlet union on the rear wall of the autoclave.

E) Remove the three vertical filter cartridges (SEDIMENT + ACTIVATED CARBON + IONIC EXCHANGE rESIN) from the relative quick-coupling heads positioned on the frame of the demineralizer. - Dry off any water that has spilled out with a cloth; - dispose of the three quick-coupling filter cartridges in compliance with the regulations in force.

  • Page 28 H) rEPLaCING THE INLINE rESIN CarTrIDGE - Release the cartridge from the clips that join it to the osmotic membrane cartridge vessel. - remove the tubes that connect the resin cartridge to the hydraulic circuit of the demineralizer. - Unscrew the quick-couplings fitted on the two heads of the resin cartridge. - Dry off any water that has spilled out with a cloth.
  • Page 29 I) When you have finished changing the cartridges, open the tap on the solenoid valve and drain water for about 15 minutes to clean the cartridges. L) When rinsing is complete, close the tap on the solenoid valve. m) Close the drain and open the outlet.
