STEP 1
UNPACK AND ASSEMBLE
• Unpack the components and rinse
the included filtration media. Then,
insert the filter mat and ceramic
filtration rings into the filter (Ex. 1).
STEP 2
PLACE URN
• Place the urn in your desired
location with the mouth of the urn
positioned over the pond or water
feature (Ex. 2).

STEP 3
ATTACH TUBING AND PUMP
• Attach the included tubing to the
barb at the back of the filter
(Ex. 3). Then, attach the other end
to a compatible water pump (not
included). If desired, a hose clamp
(not included) can be used to
secure the connections.
STEP 4
PLUG IN
• Plug in the pump and enjoy (Ex. 4).
General Maintenance

• The included filter mat and ceramic filtration rings will need to be cleaned
periodically. You will know when it is time to clean the media when water
starts to pour out the top cover bypassing the the filtration media. Clean
the media by rinsing in a bucket of clean pond water.
NOTE: Rinsing the filtration media with chlorinated tap water may kill or
damage beneficial bacteria colonizing within the media. When cleaning
filter media make sure to use pond water in a clean bucket or container,
intended for pond-use only, in order to avoid contamination.
Warranty Information
Aquascape warrants that the Pond Filter Urn will be free of
manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase. Proof
of purchase required. Warranty does not cover damage resulting
from negligent handling, misuse, or lack of reasonable maintenance
or care. The Pond Filter Urn should only be operated in freshwater
conditions without corrosive chemicals like chlorine or bromine. If
upon Aquascape's inspection, the product shows evidence of a
manufacturing defect, Aquascape's liability is limited, at Aquascape's
option, to the repair of the defect, replacement of the defective
product, or refund of the original purchase price. The warranty
excludes costs of labor, removal of product, shipping and expenses
related to the installation and re-installation of the product. All products
that include plumbing (tubing, pumps, check valves) need to be
properly drained and winterized otherwise warranty is null and void. No
liability for loss or damage of any nature or kind, whether arising out of
or from the use of the product, whether defective or not defective, is
assumed by Aquascape, Inc. or its affiliates. Aquascape shall not be
