4 Description

4.1 Product purpose

The 682R reservoir is used with dual mechanical seal
arrangements (Plan 52, 53A). The purpose of the
Flowserve's 682R reservoir is to improve the reliability and
extend the life of the dual mechanical seal by providing a
source for clean and cool barrier/buffer fluid, remove heat
and control emissions from the mechanical seal.
