Warning.
The product is not a toy.
Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C.
Do not pierce or burn.
• Never subject the product to heavy impacts,
high humidity or wetting.
• Do not expose the product to naked flames
or temperatures over 50 °C (120 °F). Do not
leave the product in the sun for prolonged
periods.
• Never touch the electrodes or the spark.
Doing so could result in an electric shock
or burn injury.
• Never let the spark come into contact with
people or animals.
• Keep the product a safe distance
away from your face, skin, clothing and
combustible items.
• Never attempt to open, modify or repair
the product.
• All repairs must be carried out by qualified
service technicians using genuine spare parts.
• Use only the included Micro-USB cable to
charge the product.

Charging
Connect the included charging lead to the Micro-USB port on
the lighter and to a computer or other USB charger with an output
voltage of 5 V (+/− 0.5 V). The LED indicators flash during charging
and remain off when the battery is fully charged. The LEDs will then
show the current charge status of the battery when the lighter is lit.
Fully charge the product every second month if it is not to be used
for a long time. This will prolong the service life of the battery.
• Do not charge the lighter for longer than three hours (it takes
1–3 hours to fully charge the battery).
• Never leave the lighter on charge for longer than this as doing so
might shorten the service life of the battery.
• The lighter cannot be used while it is charging.
Instructions for use
Hold the lighter with the ignition switch
facing upwards and the nozzle pointing
forwards.
7. Hold in the lock release button (C).
8. Slide the ignition switch (B) forwards
and hold it there.
9. Place the spark/nozzle of the lighter
against the wick of the candle to
be lit.
10. As soon as the candle is lit, release
the ignition switch and move
the lighter away from the flame.
Make sure that the spark in the nozzle has been extinguished before
you put the lighter down.

• It is completely normal for the lighter to make a buzzing noise
during use.
E
• If the lighter is not used for 10 seconds it will switch off
automatically. When you release the ignition switch, the lighter
ON OFF
will be ready for use again.

Care and maintenance
Always switch the lighter off using the power switch (E) before
cleaning it.
• Clean the product using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Remove any soot, ash or wax from the nozzle of the lighter using
a dry cloth, brush or suitable cleaning implement. Never clean
the nozzle or electrodes using a cleaning implement made of
metal, as doing so may damage the electrodes.
• If the electrodes need to be cleaned, switch the lighter off
using the power switch (E), slide the electrodes forward using
the ignition switch and clean them carefully.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not
be disposed of with general household waste. This
applies throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent
any harm to the environment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must
be handed in for recycling so that the material can be
disposed of in a responsible manner. When recycling
your product, take it to your local collection facility
or contact the place of purchase. They will ensure
that the product is disposed of in an environmentally
sound manner.
