BATTERIES: WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BATTERIES?

Good fresh batteries are important for best performance in your thermometers and as
backup in your clock.
Batteries with an expiration date of 2029, were manufactured in 2019.
We recommend batteries with an expiration date no more than 6 years in advance of the
current year for best performance.
A minimum voltage of 1.48 v per battery is required for best performance.
Lithium batteries may be used in outdoor thermometers. Alkaline batteries for the clock.

    Note: When the alarm sounds, it continues for 2 minutes and then shuts off completely. Press any button to stop the alarm for 24 hours. Activate/Deactivate Alarm: Press the button until Alarm Time shows. There will be an “A” in the lower right corner.
