Replacing the lamp unit and air filter (continued)
5) Position the new lamp unit correctly and install it.
6) Use a Phillips screwdriver to securely tighten the lamp unit fixing screws
(x 3).
7) Remove the air filter.
Grasp the tab on the air filter and
gently pull it out.
8) Install the new air filter.
Insert the air filter with the grid side facing the bottom of the projector.

The air filter must always be installed in the projector. Failure to do so will result in malfunctions due to
foreign materials, such as dust, entering the projector.
•
Insert the air filter all the way into the projector.
•
Do not wash the air filter with water. Doing so will degrade its dust-resistant properties.
•
Always replace the air filter whenever replacing the lamp unit.
9) Close the exhaust fan, and use a Phillips screwdriver to securely tighten
the exhaust fan screw.
10) Close the lamp unit cover, and use a Phillips screwdriver to securely
tighten the lamp unit cover screw (x 1).

Firmly install the lamp unit and lamp unit cover.
•
When a lamp unit is replaced with a new unit, the cumulated time of the lamp unit is reset automatically by the
projector.
