OPERATION PROCEDURE

5. Driving on Slope

WARNING
For injury accident prevention
- Make sure that the both brake pedals
are locked together and the differential
lock is unlocked before driving on
slope.
- Use the engine brake and do not
depress on the clutch pedal on downhill
slope.
- Do not set the main shift, lever, sub
shift lever, or shuttle shift lever to the
"<N> (Neutral)" or with the clutch
pressed down.
- Do not shift the gear on slope. Drive
with the main shift in the low speed
position. If suddenly started in the high
speed position, the front wheels may
jump or the tractor may slip down,
resulting in accident.
- Do not park on slope. If necessarily,
apply parking brake, set the main shift
in front side on uphill and rear side on
downhill, and place a wheel chock.
Drive at low speed on slope.
Do not depress on the clutch pedal on slope.
Shift the gear in proper main shift position
after completely leaving the slope.
When starting on uphill slope, set the main
shift in the low speed position, and reduce the
engine revolution to start gradually.
Use the engine brake on steep downhill
slope. If the main shift is set in the low speed
position, the engine brake is applied well.
