  • Page 4 Gx+ Technical Manual 3. Remove the 2 x screws from the right hand end of the Top Lid Cover. 4. Carefully lift the Top Lid Cover off from the paper guide assembly, and store safe place until needed to refit. 5.

Remove the 14 x screws holding the Pinch Roller Cover Unit to the paper guide assembly. 10. Remove the blanking plate from the right hand end of the paper guide assembly.

  • Page 9 Gx+ Technical Manual 16. Remove the 3 x screws from the right hand gas piston. As the last screw is being removed, hold the paper guide assembly with your free hand to prevent it dropping shut and causing damage. Fully open the Paper Guide Assembly at this point.

Lift the paper hold down roller and Pinch Roller Assembly, which are joined together by the spacing bar and belt, letting the right hand ends out bearings in the right hand support bracket.
  • Page 11 Gx+ Technical Manual 22. Remove the paper hold down roller from spacing bar, and using an allen key, remove the cog from the shaft. 23. Fit onto replacement paper hold down roller, and tighten with the allen key. Fit the belt over the cog, and put the shaft into the bearing and then the spacing bar.

  • Page 16 Gx+ Technical Manual 36. Replace the 14 x screws to hold Pinch Roller Cover Unit to the paper guide assembly. 37. Reconnect the 2 parts of the paper sensor cable together. 38. Replace the 2 x tie wraps to hold the sensor cable to the Pinch Roller Cover Unit.
